Description
The Chihiros Magnetic Light 2 is a magnetic nano light designed for accent lighting in small aquariums, Wabi-Kusa vessels, and decorative plant arrangements.
A key feature is its adjustable colour output. A total of 24 LEDs – comprising 8 RGB 3-in-1 LEDs and 16 white LEDs – provide a nuanced light distribution with increased brightness compared to existing lights in this series. Using the MyChihiros app, both brightness and individual colour channels can be adjusted. Timed transitions such as sunrise and sunset simulations, as well as gradual dimming phases, can also be programmed directly within the app.
For reliable continuous operation, the unit is equipped with an intelligent cooling system. An integrated temperature sensor constantly monitors heat development and activates the internal fan when necessary. This helps to extend the lifespan and ensures temperature stability even during prolonged use.
The light features a built-in magnet, allowing for flexible and simple attachment to metal surfaces. It can be mounted on shelf structures, metal frames or other suitable areas. Installation on the Chihiros Magnetic Light Stand is also straightforward. For precise positioning in aquarium setups, a metal sticker is included, enabling mounting on non-magnetic surfaces. Alternatively, the supplied non-slip feet allow placement on flat surfaces, such as a glass cover plate.
Power is supplied via a 5 V USB power adapter with a 3 A output. Compared to standard USB ports, this provides significantly higher current, ensuring stable power delivery and reliable operation even under higher loads.

Product Safety
Warning notes:
- Never look directly into the LED light – it may cause damage to your eyes.
- Children over the age of 8 or individuals with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities may only use the product under supervision or after instruction.
- If the LED module falls into the water, unplug the power immediately and ensure the unit is fully dry before reuse.
- Do not use the product if the power cable or adapter is damaged. Damaged parts must be replaced with original Chihiros components before further use.
- Do not touch the LED light while hot. Wait until it has cooled completely and is unplugged.
General notes:
- This product is for indoor use only – do not use outdoors or in damp or dusty areas.
- Never operate the light underwater or within an aquarium hood.
- Ensure the LED light is installed at least 60 mm above the water surface.
- Do not cover the LED light or power adapter to ensure proper cooling.
- Install the product only after all mounting is complete and stable.
- The LED module is protected with plexiglass but should not come into contact with water.
- Do not dispose of this product with normal household waste – follow local disposal regulations.
Handling notes:
- Always unplug the power before performing any maintenance or cleaning.
- Install the power adapter in a position that allows instant access in case of emergency.
- Do not install the power adapter in or above the aquarium cover.
- Ensure a drip loop is formed on the connection cable to prevent water from reaching the socket.
- If using a CO₂ diffuser or air pump, cover the aquarium to reduce condensation on the LED module.
